We make pervasive IoT happen

LPWAN 2.0 ubiquitous IoT

ZETA-
LPWAN 2.0 technology

ZETA is a LPWA (low-power wide-area) communication technology developed by ZiFiSense. With the benefits of its patented “Advanced M-FSK modulation method”, ZETA can achieve better performance than other traditional LPWAN technologies, leading to about 90% cost saving, 8 times lower power consumption and 6 times higher frequency spectrum efficiency.

ZETA Ecosystem

Get to know ZETA

ZETA, developed for many years through R&D efforts by ZiFiSense, is promoted by the ZETA Alliance as a global LPWAN 2.0 (Low Power Wide Area Network) standard that works in the sub-GHz bands.

Through the “Advanced M-FSK” ultra-narrowband wireless modulation & coding technology developed and owned by ZiFiSense, ZiFiSense can reach 1/10th of the cost, 1/6th of the power consumption, 1/8th of the band spectrum occupation of the competing technologies, and can increase the maximum transmission rate by 6 times.

ZETA is also the first LPWAN communication standard in the world that supports Mesh Access and that is optimized for Edge-AI. Our vision is to develop wireless IoT chips that achieve the “THREE-10” goal for LPWAN 2.0 ubiquitous IoT, that is to say: 10 cents USD cost, 10mw power consumption and 10km signal coverage.

ADVANCED M-FSK MODULATION TECHNOLOGY

The Advanced M-FSK physical technology first created by ZiFiSense gives ZETA an outstanding receiving sensitivity (up to -149.2dbm), a very flexible transmission rate (20bps-200kbps) and stable communication for moving objects under 120km/h, in order to meet the demand of fragmented, diverse and complex IOT scenarii.

PROVIDE NEW SOLUTION FOR LPWAN 2.0 TECHNOLOGY EVOLUTION

Advanced M-FSK improves and optimizes the physical layer of ZETA’s communication modulation/demodulation process, makes ZETA to self-adapt to different transmission rates of various scenarios, breaks through the upper limit of the receiving sensitivity of the existing LPWAN technology, thus providing new solutions for the evolution of new generation of LPWAN 2.0.

STABLE COMMUNICATION UNDER 120 KM/H

ZETA solved the Doppler frequency offset problem caused by high speed to achieve real time data transmission on moving objects, which expand the application of LPWAN technology in logistic scenarios. For example in a scenario of 120km/h highway, a ZETA SDR AP can cover 6-10km.

EXTENSION OF 5G

To pursue extremely high rate and acme coverage, 5G accomplishes high rate under high bandwidth through SCS, meanwhile ZETA Advanced M-FSK uses SCS to accomplish wide coverage with narrow band. Advanced M-FSK is an addition and extension of 5G in LPWAN area. (Low rate and wide area coverage)

MESH ACCESS, SAVE NETWORK COST

ZETA is the first LPWAN technology that supports "MESH ACCESS". With the characteristics of self-organizing, self-healing, high robustness and stability, and lower power consumption, enabling long-distance stable transmission in complex environments.

In addition, ZETA has patented intelligent mote product. Mote can be powered by batteries, which can easily extend network coverage to blind point of AP signal, benefit 70% cost-saving on the cost of network deployment.

Ultra-Narrow Band, strong anti-interference

ZETA ultra-narrowband communication technology, the channel bandwidth is 0.6~4kHz, supports 100bps-50kbps transmission rate, and ensures 100% success rate of data uplink through network mechanism, making ZETA have super anti-interference, which can transmit stably in a complex environment of interference sources.
